Andrew Reilly

Andrew Reilly, is the managing editor of the award-winning 35th Street Review and curator of the Normal Words online literary showcase. His essays and fiction have appeared in a number of fine publications, and he is a regular contributor to The A.V. Club, The Beachwood Reporter, and Mouthpiece, among others. He lives in Uptown, where he is at work on his first collection of short stories and often contemplates getting rid of his car.

Michelle Renae

Michelle Renae is beyond thrilled to be joining 2nd Story for their fabulous spring festival. Michelle is a poet, writer, and spoken word artist who loves to divulge all her juicy secrets to any audience who hands her a mic. She has performed widely in the Chicago area and also had lots of really interesting things almost happen to her. She was almost an Olympian, almost a Baptist Preacher, almost an exotic dancer, and almost had a venture capitalist from Dubai buy the rights to all her writing: but just almost.

Tamara Roberts

Tamara Roberts is a composer, sound designer, and scholar devoted to exploring the aesthetic, political, and spiritual potential of imaginative performance. She has worked with numerous Chicago theater companies, including About Face, Next, TimeLine, Teatro Luna, Strawdog, American Theater Company, Steppenwolf, and Chicago Dramatists. Tamara is currently finishing a Ph.D. in Performance Studies at Northwestern and will join the faculty of the UC Berkeley Music Department in fall 2009.

Adrian Rosales

Adrian Rosales is a fiction writer and graphic designer in Chicago. Originally from Oklahoma, Adrian began telling stories early as a child mostly to get himself out of trouble. He is currently earning his MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago and works as an art director.
